Why DipIn exists

A lot of social products are good at keeping people online. DipIn is designed around a different outcome: making it easier to turn “I feel like doing something” into a real, low-pressure meetup with someone nearby.

The focus is on things happening today or soon, rather than plans that need to be scheduled weeks in advance.
